The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography is a very special organization.
We all share a similar interest in CT but do not care whether our prior training background
is as a cardiologist, radiologist, nuclear medicine physician, technologist, or physicist.
The Society is truly international, and our goal is to learn how to best use CT technology
to serve a markedly diverse population. The quality of the people involved is impressively
high, and the energy is infectious. I was honored to serve as the president of the
organization and know that Dr. Jeff Carr will skillfully advance our mission to promote
international cooperation to increase the evidence base for cardiovascular CT.
