404 Fully Automated Quantification Of Epicardial And Thoracic Adipose Tissue From Cardiovascular Computed Tomography

      Introduction: The quantity of visceral adipose tissue (VAT) is associated with cardiovascular risk, coronary disease, and systemic inflammation. Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CCT) is a prominent modality for the assessment of VAT surrounding the heart and inside the thoracic cavity. We propose a fully automated approach to quantify both epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) and thoracic adipose tissue (TAT) from CCT images.
