Introduction: Thoracic ascending and descending aorta are well visualized in non-contrast CT for
coronary calcium calcification (CAC). Automatic segmentation and sizing of aorta may
add additional clinical values to the CAC. Our goal is to test feasibility of developing
fully automatic approach to assess the size of descending aorta on non-contrast CT
scans.
