Introduction: Assessment of right ventricular systolic function remains challenging due to the
complex geometry of the right ventricle. Interventional tricuspid valve annuloplasty
has emerged as a therapeutic option for symptomatic patients with severe tricuspid
valve regurgitation deemed at high surgical risk. Right ventricular function is an
important prognostic parameter. We performed a head to head comparison of right ventricular
systolic function in CT and echocardiography.
